Shirt? h&m
Jeans? Gap
Flats? thrifted
Bracelet with horse heads? From the crazy lady at The Ex.

A really simple outfit. I took the ballet inspired top and I went very literal with the rest of the look. Black pants, flats with a faux pointe (though Matt calls them my steel toe flats...) and twisted back hair... Yes, The Nutcracker called. They seem to be missing a principal dancer...

This shirt is the reason I try to avoid h&m. When I'm in there, everything looks so fresh and appealing and when I wake up from my h&m overdose, I realize I've just spent $100 on a pile of clothes that won't last 3 washes. But I had to buy a gift for a friend (where she lives there are no h&m's) so I went in and got seduced by the sweetness of this top. I am weak. When I wear this shirt I feel so very graceful. Which is a lie. Because if you've watched Seinfeld, you will know that grace is an inherent quality, either you have it or you don't. Judging by the three fresh bruises on my legs from running into random stuff, I would say I'm like Elaine, I just don't have grace. But in this shirt, I might fool you for just a second...

I for one like it. Hey, I'm first.
Cuba is on Friday, pick a day after the 23rd for us to have a romantic double.
How was Matt's bday?

lovely lovely-
i think you exude grace (at least in your pics!) and your editorials are always the coolest.
i too have h&m buyer's remorse but i still can't help myself...i always go overboard when i am there.

Beautiful look! You certainly do seem graceful :)

That shirt is so delicate and whimsical! I would no doubt spill red wine or coffee on it within five minutes of putting it on, as I, too, lack grace.

Gorgeous photos! The second one is very convincingly graceful. As a ballet teacher, I'm always fascinated to see how people interpret 'the ballet look'. Just a little technique tip for you, honey: heels together, toes apart ;)

I love that shirt, I was going to buy it but they didn't have my size, wish I'd looked in more stores for it now...

Haha, I just watched that Seinfeld episode in my lit class...so funny!

That shirt is fabulous. I'm jealous! As a rule, I generally avoid knit shirts because they don't last.

Yen, I love how beautiful these photos are and how ballerina-esque you look. That top is really pretty, and hey, I would've been seduced by it at H&M too.

My dad used to call me "Grace" as a joke because of my bug bites and bruises from falling growing up, I certainly didn't have it... :)

This outfit is totally chic... effortless. I love it! As for grace, I'm a firm believer it lies in all of us.. just dig deep. :) There is no H&M here in Hawaii either, good thing my BFF is just as sweet as you to go pick up a few things for me as well!

Happy Sunday.

xx Love & Aloha

These pictures are beautiful and I really, really like that shirt. Also, it would be awesome if you could share what you use, makeup/skincare wise (is that weird?) because your skin always looks amazing (still weird?) :)

Looooove this. (I meant that in a singy voice. You just can't tell because the internet sucks for voice inflections.)

I have still never been to H&M in my life. Sad day.

woof, the same thing happens to me at h&m. i walk in sane and come out carrying a bedazzled sweatshirt and snakeskin pants. how do they do it?
but you do look like Baryshnikov's partner right now.

Well you LOOK graceful. I feel the same way about H&M, though. Neutrals are so beautiful on you!

This outfit is very pretty and simple. I do the same thing with H&M. I can never go in there and buy just one thing, which is why I have been trying to stay far away from that store lately.

It may be crap, but it sure is pretty crap! I love the sweetness of this, but really it's not so sweet at all. Know what I mean?

Hehehe well, at least you LOOK graceful, and if I hadn't read that lil' blurb, I'd think you actually were ;)

Awww I'm jealous you have an H&M. I am the same as your friend, no H&M in sight which sucks. Big time. And everytime I get the opportunity to go to one, you best believe I drop a small fortune... and love every second of it :)

I have the same problem with H&M. It sucks you right in, doesn't it. Great outfit and your hair look beautiful like that!

It might be simple but that top makes such a great statement. I love that it looks sensual without being revealing.
